Great stay
Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Colby an IHG HotelThis place was great. We had to stop because my back needed a rest from our trip so we stopped here we had no reservations so we were very happy they took big dogs and had a room available. The room was great, the staff were nice, and the grass around the whole hotel was great. My girls loved it and no sand burrs. The Continental breakfast was great too - scrambled eggs, gravy, sausage biscuits, and it was warm too. The location was good for all kinds of different places to eat dinner. The beds were great too. My girls thought we were back home they were so comfortable. We all slept great for the last day on the road.

Great location
Studio 6 North Platte NE - EastThe night people were very nice and gave my girls cookies and kisses. The room was really big and clean, the grassy area around the whole hotel was great. My girls really liked walking around in the nice grass, and they had a waste can to put the dogs waste. There were no sand burrs which was great. The breakfast was frozen breakfast sandwiches which I would not consider a Continental breakfast. Otherwise we were very happy with the hotel and staff.

Great location
Super 8 by Wyndham Custer/Crazy Horse AreaThe room was a bit old but it didn’t smell like dogs, that’s always a plus. The staff were very friendly, there were different grassy areas to take your dogs to do their business one was close to the rock hills but it had sand burrs. The other places were in front of the hotel and by the road which was better, but there was deer waste so my dogs wanted to do you know what, so that was a bit of an issue. Otherwise it was a good place for them to go potty. The continental breakfast was pretty good; it looked like there were different breakfast for each day.

Okay location
Blackstone Lodge & SuitesThe staff were friendly and the room was nice and clean, and it didn’t smell like dogs. The grassy area for the dogs was not a great location; you had to walk up a hill to get to it and it was very close to the busy street. But there were no sand burrs so that was a plus.

Good location
Super 8 by Wyndham OgallalaThis was a last minute stop on the way home. The room was okay and didn’t smell like dogs. The grassy area was a joke. The 2 places you could take your dogs to go potty, there was NO grass. One place that had a sign saying it was the area for them had broken glass and nails and staples, very disappointing. There was another place but you had to walk across a busy street to get to it and it was more for the gas station people than the hotel people.
