So pretty
Lair o' the Bear ParkThis is a very pretty location and there are so many trails to walk on. We walked along the river and let our dog walk inside of it. The creek can get pretty rough though, so make sure your pup is a strong swimmer if you want to let them take a dip.

Part of it is not fenced in
Bozeman Pond Park Dog ParkIt is a great place for swimming access, but there is not much fence around the area. There is a bit of it on both sides, but it stops on land. My dog was able to walk through the water and get past the fence. The area is also right next to a road, so always keep an eye on your pet!

Soo convenient
Bitter Creek Bark ParkMe and my dog both really enjoyed this dog park. There is so much space and two separate parks that each have lots of running space. The pond is only in one side of the park though. There are also many places two sit and two fountains in each park. It was great when stopping on our travels!

Amazing dog park and swimming access.
Cherry Creek State Park Dog Off-Leash Area (DOLA)This is an amazing dog park and me and my dog have been going to it for years. It has a huge open space so there is plenty of space to run, play and go to the bathroom. The creek area also has plenty of space. But at the moment, the creek is flooded and parts of it are closed for your dogs safety. Even the parts that are closed though have entrances so make sure to watch your dog as the creek is really deep and fast moving. There are two entrances, one costs $12 and the other costs $3 so make sure to go through the south entrance for cheaper cost. The entrance also has restrooms for use too.

Really nice
Bear Creek Dog ParkThis park is really big and a nice area to take your dog. There are two separate parks, one for small dogs and one for big dogs and each of them provide creek access! There are lots of entrances to the creek and plenty of space to walk and sniff around. There is also a hose to wash off your dog and provide them water and there are lots of benches to sit down.

Beautiful location
Spring Canyon Dog ParkThe dog park is in a beautiful location to look at surrounding mountains. It is a decent size and there is enough space for dogs to play around. There is another gated section that gives access to a nice big pond although it may not look like it at first because it is hidden in trees. It is right next to spring canyon park, which also has access to restrooms and many sidewalks to walk your dog.

Not fenced and creek is a hazard
Jacobs Island Bark ParkIt is a nice dog park with plenty of space to swim however the river gets really deep and can flow really fast. There is no fence past the entrance and there are mini trails leading to the river that a dog could easily get lost in. There is a little trail near the back of the park which has more places to swim but the trail there can have snakes so just beware. The way to get into the park can be kind of confusing but you have to park in a small parking lot and then walk across the bridge. There are three ways to go and if you turn right that leads to the dog park.

Amazing dog park
Chatfield Dog ParkThis is without a doubt one of the best dog parks ever. Although it costs $13 for admission, it is worth it. It is a huge dog park fenced in all the way around and with a restroom provided at the entrance. There are three different large ponds to swim in and plenty of space to explore and sniff around. There are many different trails that go around the park and it is also a beautiful area. Overall great dog park and it is worth the money spent.

Nice dog park but muddy
Bark Park at Granby TrailsIt’s a nice dog park with plenty of space to run around in and a nice pond/ river for your dog to swim in! But it is very muddy and gross near the end of the creek.

Clean but weed problem
Home2 Suites by Hilton BillingsThis is a lovely hotel that is very clean and has wonderful staff. However, we did have to move rooms because our first floor room smelled like weed. I’m also sure that this isn’t the only room that smells like weed so if you do decide to come here with your pet, make sure to not book a room on the first floor.

Fence is easy to get past
Lake McKenzie Dog ParkThis is a great dog park with two seperate sections. One section has the lake with a beach for swimming and playing and the other is a large space that is completely fenced in with a long sidewalk, benches, water fountain(that is closed at the moment so still bring water), and a small muddy pond in the middle. The section with the lake, however, is fenced in but not all the way. The fence is only on the sand part and doesn’t go far at all into the water so the dogs can easily just walk past. My dog almost walked into people fishing!
