Salem La Quinta
La Quinta by Wyndham Salem ORUpon arrival we were greeted by Shurrel who was as pleasant and efficient as I could have expected. She greeted our 11 month old Golden Retriever and our cats. The room was better than expected, the bed was comfortable and there wasn’t any road or building behind us. Only field. We left too early this morning to take advantage of your breakfast items. The only negative was the room next to us that has their television too loud. That is an indicator to me that there isn’t much barrier between rooms. Otherwise everything was great.

Fresno La Quinta
La Quinta by Wyndham Fresno NorthwestUpon check in there was no one at the front counter. After a short wait, a young man came from the back. I told him our last name and that we had a reservation. He said he needed my drivers license and credit card for incidentals. I asked him how is day was going. His response was ‘boring’. I have to tell you when I get response like that it tells me this young man is in the wrong job. I don’t care how bored you are you NEVER tell a guest that. The suite was good sized and a good choice for the nightly rate. However, it looked like it is need of a remodel as all the wood furniture was chipped and the stain coming off. Very unsightly. The shower/bathtub caulking was pulled up so I suspect it was a rush job. Overall it was a very tired hotel. Not sure we would stay again.
