  Great stay

  The grounds are lovely. Friendly staff. Very dog friendly. Milk Bones outside the lobby when you check in. Their website says they have bowls and beds for dogs but we were not offered those so maybe you have to ask if you need them. We didn’t. Nice clean room. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 20-25lb dogs in the king bed room. It was downstairs which was great for the dogs. The staff were wheeling bedding etc past our room early in the morning and the cart was loud and woke up the dogs, which caused some barking between 7am-9am every time they walked by. Our room was pretty close to the laundry room so not much to do about that. There is also a large Tesla charging station here!

  Best hotel in the area

  Mission De Oro is the place to stay while traveling from Northern Ca to Southern Ca. I have stayed at other hotels and you get what you pay for. This is the best. Clean, beautiful grounds, and unlimited services.

  Very convenient

  The rooms surround a huge courtyard where dogs are welcome on leash. Good restaurant so no need to leave and good security for cars. Very dog friendly.

  Perfect in every way

  What a great experience! From online check-in, to your dog being welcomed with their name on the board and treats, to plenty of space for them to roam around sniff pushes and relax. The great restaurant was super pet friendly with a dog menu of plenty of options. Food and service were excellent. Just a perfect stay between Southern California and Russian River.

  Paw-fect

  Wow! What a find for any fur family making their way through central California. An oasis in the area. This boutique resort is beautifully maintained, has all amenities needed, and is more than pet friendly. The restaurant food was excellent as well. We didn’t use the pool but it looked great.

  Wonderful stay

  The grounds are beautiful and while our room was pretty ordinary it was very clean. We had excellent dinner on the patio which was also dog friendly!

  Excellent

  Great facility and through BringFido, a really good rate. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Only minor complaint is it would be nice to have a small table and two chairs which there is room for. Lovely grounds as well and very pleasant staff. Security guard walks the property constantly. Will definitely return.

  Great staff and glorious lawns

  Have been here twice. Both times I have been delighted with the restaurant bar, the wonderful art collection seed in the public areas and restaurant, bar and lobbies. Lots of early CA works. Also restaurant is pricey but does not disappoint! Dog rooms were sparsely furnished but spacious and very clean. Love to stop in here.

  Great Surprise!

  Great Surprise hotel in the middle of a long car trip. Wonderful place for our anxiety ridden doggie. Darling courtyard area close to take doggie out at night, peaceful & quiet. Very safe. on-site restaurant greatly appreciated! So reasonable & really nice rooms.

  Convenient Location

  Just off I-5, convenient if you need a midway stop on the freeway. Really nice open areas to exercise your pooch. Restaurant has outdoor seating so you can go with your pet but when we visited it was cold and wet so we brought food to the room. Pet fee is perhaps a bit steep though.

  Wow! Beautiful spot although it is just off I-5. Well appointed room, grounds were great for our pet. Restaurant and lounge on site.

  Quiet & wonderful place to stay. Lots beautiful walking areas. The restaurant food was excellent. Will always plan a trip with a stop at the Mission.

  Very nice place

  This hotel was definitely a cut above the rest in the area. Very nice rooms and we enjoyed walking the grounds with our dog. The restaurant had very good food and they were kind enough to light one of the outdoor heaters so we could have dinner with our dog. Would stay there again.

  Excellent dog-friendly hotel

  Me and my doggy Piper highly recommend this very friendly hotel. Piper was allowed everywhere except the pool area. The grounds were stunning. The room was very clean, comfortable, and very quiet. There’s a designated dog relief area with doggy bags. I had eggs Benedict and Piper had scrambled eggs at the restaurant which was delicious. I felt very safe there traveling solo.

  Beautiful oasis!

  This hotel was a wonderful surprise! The grounds are beautiful, amenities are plentiful, staff is very accommodating and professional, and the room was very comfortable. It is very pet friendly, and welcomes each pet with a treat! High recommend as the best place to stay in the Santa Nella/Los Banos area.

  Great stop off I-5

  Food was good (although a bit expensive). Dog-friendly patio with heaters. Room was clean and check-in process very streamlined.

  Beautiful hotel grounds

  Check in online is a breeze, they text you a link and it makes arrival-to-room speedy quick. Nice carriage circle/front parking. Ground-floor room was super easy to get dogs in and out. The hotel grounds and landscape are gorgeous and serene, nice to walk dogs around after you arrive and you’re tired from the trip. Make sure to catch their restaurant before closing. Food is delicious. Overall loved the mission style architecture. Surprisingly calm place to stay given it is legit smack off the 5 freeway (lovely bathroom products too). Pea Soup Andersen is off this exit too.

  Our favorite hotel oasis!

  This place is unique! The rooms can be simple, but always clean. Staff is friendly, and they have an easy text/web based pet-confirmation so you don't have to fuss :) The theme here is fun, and the grounds are beautiful! A night-time walk is a welcome break from road-trips. The dog-area is currently under construction, but there are many grassy spots in lieu of it. Also- there is a Starbucks a short walk away! A bonus dog-walk & human-sanity benefit!

  Super friendly staff, well-designed, comfortable room (with a big leather easy chair), great restaurant, lots of room to walk around with your pets. On the other hand, $30 per dog, per night (x 3, in our case) seems a might more than any other place we've stayed. Else, 5 bones.

  Gorgeous Grounds

  I have stayed in pretty much all the dog friendly hotels in Santa Nella and this one is 100 times better! Beautiful fountains, chandeliers, landscaping and decor. The rooms are renovated and beautiful! The staff was excellent and friendly as well!

  This hotel is perfect for traveling with dogs. The rooms are beautiful. There is a large courtyard area with fountains and fire pits. The restaurant has a large dog-friendly patio and serves delicious food.

  Beautiful landscaping

  Beautiful, well kept landscaping with water fountains and fire pits you can sit around. Lots of grass areas for the dogs, but no dog bags so bring your own. Very clean, comfortable and affordable.

  We Will Be Back!!

  We had such a great visit. We were able to enjoy delicious meals from the onsite restaurant out on the beautiful courtyard patio with our best bud and there were many places for him to sniff around. This was a last minute find on our way to visit family and we will definitely be back soon. Thank you.

  Great place to stay!

  We stayed one night while driving between LA and Oregon. The room was clean, and we could unload our gear from the car right outside the room. It’s got lovely grounds to walk your dog, and someone is clearly working hard to fix up the older building. We’ll make this our mid-way stop from now on, as our dog loved it here. And the takeout we got at their restaurant was better than we had the rest of the trip.

  Lovely, interesting, and beyond expectations

  This place is soooooo cool. Super clean, friendly, enjoyable and great food. For the same price, you’d be way happier here than some boring old chain hotel!

  Another great night

  This is our go to hotel on journeys north. Comfortable beds, great restaurant. Area to walk dog. Great grounds. This trip saw them filming a short movie.
