Spacious room
Cedar Motor InnSpacious but spartan room. Comfortable bed, one side table, one lounge chair, one desk and chair. Nothing to chew, so puppy gives it only 2 bones. Clean. Good tub/shower. Very recently refurbished in retro colors.

Good breakfast bar
Quality InnFirst floor room was convenient for us with 2 dogs. Facility was clean and reasonably up to date. Bathtub was slippery with no grab bars which lowered my rating to 4 bones. $15 pet fee was very reasonable.

Functional, friendly
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Toledo PerrysburgThis an older motel (vanity outside the bathroom) and decor in need of update, carpets looking dingy. We were given a third floor room so with a puppy and older dog it wasn’t convenient. Back stairway was dirty and exterior door didn’t close all the way or latch. Thereby the lower rental rate.

Comfortable and Convenient
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus West - HilliardComfy bed, good shower and vanity/mirror. They gave us one of the first rooms on the ground floor for convenience. Would definitely stay again.

Good but showing wear
Comfort Inn ChelseaEverything worked well as expected. Comfortable bed, decent breakfast. Finishes and fixtures showing their age.

Refurbished!
Red Roof Inn Jackson OHThis Inn was recently well refurbished, clean and comfortable. Only problem was the extra slippery room floor. Our pup was doing the splits on it.

Comfortable Good Value
Budget Host Crestview InnGood, clean, comfortable classic motel room but updated decor, bathroom, MW, TV, and fridge with comfortable bed. Even the coffee was good.

Accommodated but pricey
Mission Point ResortWe were put in the extreme end of the resort for pet people. Family suite in the Straits Lodge was billed as Straits view but we got a view of a hedge 10 feet away. All at a very high cost especially the pet fee of $10 per stay. But we were at least on the island with our pet. The “wholly refurbished” building is still pretty basic but the bed was comfortable.
