  The room was wonderful!! The manager who checked me displayed great customer service! Would definitely come back. One of the better La Quintas I’ve stayed at lately. There’s been some crappy ones in Missouri.

  We were on the 3rd floor and it was very quiet. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory. No scrambled eggs and sausage or biscuits and gravy. A little something for everyone though. That’s why I gave it a 4 bones. Friendly staff.

  Nice grounds and staff

  Nice, quiet location with lots of grassy areas to walk your dogs. However, the carpet in the halls were tired and needed cleaning. Comfortable beds though!

  Middling experience

  This hotel is older, although very clean. It is a little tricky to get to through some winding streets. Good thing it was only me with my car because our 26' truck would never have gotten in there. Breakfast was so-so.

  This hotel was nice and clean and service was good. Easy to get to if traveling the Interstate. Also had a lot of places to choose from for meals that were close by.

  Lacking amenities

  Upon check in I was told there were only sheets on the bed and to ask if I needed a blanket. I thought I would be OK but woke up during the night cold. I should have asked for a blanket before I went to sleep but what hotel doesn't provide blankets? I went to wash my hair in the morning but there was no shampoo. The hair products were all from different hotels which I thought was very odd. Maybe they were trying to reuse and recycle?

  Space for walking/running dog

  Nice, basic room. Lots of green space around the motel for walking/running a dog. Only drawback is the "styrofoam" breakfast, not great. Glad we brought our own granola. And a message to motels/hotels: ditch the styrofoam! Awful stuff.

  All of the staff at this hotel were very friendly. The hotel was fairly basic and needs some updating but it was quiet and clean. We will stay here again.

  The staff were very friendly and helpful. Regarding the room: The room was clean. Guests had to ask for a comforter/bedspread (very bizarre). The safety lock on the door was broken at the hinge.

  Convenient location, very clean room on the first floor, comfortable bed, small fridge (no freezer), microwave and In room coffee. You have to ask for a blanket which was a nice comforter & smelled freshly laundered. Lots of grass for my German Shepherd to run around. Breakfast was adequate.

  The dogs loved the quiet room and ample green space for walks, etc. Rooms were clean, well appointed and comfortable. service was excellent, the best that we experienced in our cross country trip. This was the first place where we had to sign a pet agreement.

  Got all the essentials right for a good price. Friendly staff; clean bedroom, bathroom, and towels/linens; cold AC; hot shower; and overall quiet even on the 1st floor. Not a lot of green space for walkies. The exterior and interior are close to needing a renovation soon.

  Good roadside stop

  The hotel met our needs for a stop on our road trip. The room was clean. Booking through BringFido they put in a first floor request and it was granted. There are grassy areas outside to walk the dogs and they have bags available outside. The breakfast is nothing that will blow you away but it has a decent variety of items. All in all a very good experience for our 3 people + 2 dogs.

  I have been staying at this LaQ for years while driving to and from MI. I grew up in Perrysburg and consider this the best dog friendly spot to stay by far!

  Don't do it!

  Unfortunately we fell for the 4.5 bones & this hotel was horrible. I should have known to walk when the lady at the front desk (who was very kind) asked if I wanted a comforter for the bed because there was only a sheet. The hallway smelled of urine, the carpet in our room was covered in stains (some that looked like blood) & the walls were gross. It was so bad we didn't take our shoes off & we made our dog sleep on the bed with us.

  This an older motel (vanity outside the bathroom) and decor in need of update, carpets looking dingy. We were given a third floor room so with a puppy and older dog it wasn’t convenient. Back stairway was dirty and exterior door didn’t close all the way or latch. Thereby the lower rental rate.

  Acceptable stop, clean room

  We arrived very late (it was after 1:00 am and I had called ahead to make sure they knew we were still coming… they were very pleasant). Check-in was quick and our room was just down the hall on the first floor. I was able to access the parking lot from an exit at the end of the hall for potty trips for my collie. Overall an acceptable stop on our cross country travels. I would stay here again.

  Great Location

  This hotel was simple but had everything we needed. The room was clean and it was convenient to have the pet rooms on the first floor. It’s much easier not to go up and down stairs with your pet each time you let them out-or bother with an elevator. They even supplied doggie bags to clean up after they go. These were great perks compared to another pet friendly hotel we’d stayed at. We also liked how close the hotel was to many stores and restaurants; you can find anything you want within 5 mins or so.

  But kind of down at the heels. Bed only has a sheet, so bring a blanket or ask for one at the front desk. “Grab and go” breakfast kinda useless if you’re gluten free (we are). No coffee/tea downstairs - just coffeemakers in rooms.

  Kudos to La Quinta

  Got a late start on road trip, so didn’t know if we’d make it this far. Drove in just before 10pm, and check-in was quick and easy. Yes, made reservation with BringFido while en route. Requested comforter was placed nearby front desk, as promised. Place was quiet. Plenty of sidewalks to extend your walk which we both appreciated. Only drawbacks were the really strong room deodorizer (yes, I understand need for it), and carpeting. Many dog-friendly hotels have installed the durable and attractive laminate flooring, which is more easily cleaned. Grab and go breakfast also much appreciated and ample w plenty of fresh fruit.

  Great Value for dog owners

  Easy and affordable place. Clean setup with freshly washed comforters from the front desk, which is a nice touch in the Covid-19 days. Easy to sign in our pupper without any extra fee. Our go-to stop when traveling in the future.

  The hotel is quite run down, our door looked like it had been chewed around the lock by a big dog - or someone had hacked away at it with a knife, there wasn’t much for dogs. It was a place to lay our heads but that was it.
  One very bright light was the wonderful Maria, on front deck duty when we arrived. The nicest, most helpful and efficient person ever. She is simply wonderful.

  Dog and people friendly!

  I stayed overnight with my basset mix and it was just perfect. Two star hotel so simple, but very comfortable rooms and beds and wonderful staff. The two women that checked us in and out were just lovely! We just needed a place to crash so we got in late and left early. Vito’s pizza was a great local late night joint for dinner delivery and La Quinta provided a COVID-friendly grab and go breakfast that was much appreciated. I saw quite a few dogs on the first floor but it was very quiet, the guests were all so respectful. We will definitely be back!

  Bed was great. There was only shampoo, no conditioner or lotion which is usually provided. Too tired to call down and had my own. No eggs for breakfast. A little disappointed for the price.

  Friendly staff, clean facility and a good nights sleep. Lots of restaurants near by. Easy on and off to interstate highways. Would stay again.

  Stopped in mid January and was impressed. Ended up driving by a month later and stopped again. Staff is excellent and rooms were clean. Waffle House, gas/variety and Autozone store all within a short walk.

  Staff is WONDERFUL, very welcoming to my pet! Room was clean, but it did smell like dirty/wet dog. Very quiet, restful evening. Nice hot or cold breakfast. Great place to stop overnight for the price.

  Front desk staff very friendly and lobby decorated and welcoming. All areas clean! Stayed with our golden in a room with no pet odor located right near an exit for easy in/out. Very quiet although there were other dogs in rooms nearby. No added pet fee !!! Clean green areas all around for walking. Basic breakfast included in clean, bright eating area. Very close to I 80. A gem of a pet friendly stay if you are traveling!

  Treats on Check-in!

  The woman who checked me in was very nice and had treats for the pups. The website says 3 dogs max but I have 4 chihuahuas and there was no problem. I did enter that as a request when I booked with BringFido - to make sure 4 was ok, and it was. The room was very clean and had access to the parking lot from another door so I didn't have to bring the dogs through the lobby each time we left. There were green areas on each side of the hotel for dogs to do their business, complete with a supply of poop bags. There is also a nice neighborhood to walk the dogs in. The grounds are also big enough to have a quick walk - and not just parking lot asphalt.

  I stayed there on my way to Wisconsin and on my way back a week later. Both stays were perfect!

  The hotel was nice-clean and awesome pillows ( my particular thing in hotels) and a very large room. There was lots of green space for walking and pickup bags were provided. The young lady who checked us in was lovely. She was very welcoming and friendly and even gave my pup treats. The check out was easy and the gentleman behind the desk friendly and pleasant. Good hotel for us to stop at on our way to visit family in Canada.

  Reasonable hotel in Perrysburg

  We were warmly welcomed by the sweet woman at the desk, who provided some small dog treats for our puppy. We were very happy to get a room on the first floor with relatively easy access to the outdoors. There was a grassy area for dogs along with a number of other paths, some with sidewalks, where we were able to walk him. There are a number of great little parks within one mile of this location, so we did have places where we could take our dog for a decent walk without the traffic of a hotel. We had a king-sized bed with refrigerator, microwave, & coffee-maker so this was a good location for us & our dog.

  nice stay with your pup

  The front desk was really nice when we got there the 1st room had a stain on the comforter and the lady at the front desk was very apologetic. She switched us rooms and it was way better then the first!
  There’s a nice big grassy area for your pup to go potty and walk around. They even have poo bags available.
  I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the 1st room.
