Bella and Barry the Beagle are our two dogs - the dynamic duo. Both are hounds except is half German Shepard. Sweetest and funniest dogs you would ever hope to meet.

Hilton Garden Inn Toledo PerrysburgVery nice hotel located in the heart of Perrysburg. They made us feel so welcome and my dog thoroughly enjoyed her stay. She was relaxed and very comfortable, which helped a lot.

Good location
Comfort Inn & Suites CheyenneFriendly staff, good location. Walls and doors not very thick so my dog heard everything! Side doors didn’t allow you to exit and re-enter so we had to always walk around which was not ideal. I passed through and chose a different hotel.

Excellent in every way
Residence Inn by Marriott Portland Downtown WaterfrontOur second stay at a Residence Inn and Suite Hotel did not disappoint. Very nice room, helpful and efficient service, hotel in a great location near walking paths and great restaurants. Highly recommend staying here.

Not great
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Toledo PerrysburgThe hotel is quite run down, our door looked like it had been chewed around the lock by a big dog - or someone had hacked away at it with a knife, there wasn’t much for dogs. It was a place to lay our heads but that was it.
One very bright light was the wonderful Maria, on front deck duty when we arrived. The nicest, most helpful and efficient person ever. She is simply wonderful.

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Dubuque an IHG HotelPositives - room was clean and tidy.
Not so positive - staff inexperienced, no internet ( we were given the number of a 3rd party help desk to contact who asked for our computer IP to help get us past the firewall...We said ‘no thanks’), guests walking around and in elevators with no masks on, thin walls, not a lot of space for dogs. Can’t recommend and won’t ever return.

Dog friendliest
La Quinta by Wyndham North PlatteLa Quinta Inn in North Platte, IA is totally built for dogs (and pets), and we loved it! Love the dog park, endless grassy lawns with all of the necessary amenities for owners to look after their furry friends. The room was clean and very comfortable and the staff so friendly - and appropriately dog mad. Highly recommend stopping here if you are passing by.

Residence Inn by Marriott Salt Lake City AirportWe mixed up the Residence Inns in Salt Lake and arrived at the Airport after a very long day of driving. Instead of sending us away, Andrea kindly found us a quiet room, contacted the other location and helped us settle in. The room was wonderful: very clean, quiet, so comfortable with plenty of space outside to walk the dogs. Best night of our trip by far.

Stay was OK
Best Western Golden KeyVery friendly staff, room was clean and generally fine except the bed wasn’t very comfortable and the room as a bit small for two dogs. The walls and door were also thin so our dogs felt they needed to be in guard because of the strange sounds they were hearing. Based on our circumstances, we would probably give it a miss in future.
