Great walking trail, very nice staff
Quality Inn Paradise CreekThis Quality Inn sits on the Bill Chipman Trail from the WSU campus to the University of Idaho campus in Moscow, seven miles. It's part of rails-to-trails, is beautifully designed and runs along a riparian area of birds and wetlands.

Nice basic lodging
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Walla WallaThey are definitely dog-friendly, as long as your pup is well-behaved. You sign a separate set of rules, all OK. The hotel is surrounded by lush grass and poop bag stations for Fido to relieve himself. Only drawback was mediocre breakfast with no fresh fruit and awful "orange juice."
