Our room was on the first floor close to the back exit. Easy access to the outside, comfy king size bed. It was pretty quiet so the pup did not bark much to protect us from the unknown. We will be happy to return to this property.

Pros: friendly front desk staff, location, no pet fee. Cons: Filthy room, advertised as newer property, looked ten years old. The refrigerator looked like it had been thrown down a flight of stairs it was so dented and damaged! Wore flip flops to shower, that says it all. We have stayed at many La Quinta properties because the accept dogs, will never stay at this one again.

All (ok mostly) good! Easy booking. Very nice and helpful desk staff. Hotel itself is clean and comfortable, and even a bit of tasteful decor for a corporate chain. There's lots of open land nearby to let the dog run, but it's not a fabulous surface and there's a whole lot of nasty weeds--cheat grass and such. Hotel lawn was obviously recently sprayed with herbicides so we avoided it, and the sprinklers were running at dawn, hence the trip across the street to the fields. Only real bummer was the bad dog owners across the hall who, despite the pledge we all signed NOT to leave dogs alone in the room, left their two dogs alone whilst owners went out for breakfast. Dogs promptly then barked us awake at 5:30 am! I got up after 15 minutes of the noise and was on the way out our door to complain at the desk about the bad dog owners when they returned, heard the barking, and laughingly said to one another, "Gosh, our dogs are so rude!" Rude owners more like but I certainly agreed (out loud!) with their assessment as we headed out for our walk!

They are definitely dog-friendly, as long as your pup is well-behaved. You sign a separate set of rules, all OK. The hotel is surrounded by lush grass and poop bag stations for Fido to relieve himself. Only drawback was mediocre breakfast with no fresh fruit and awful "orange juice."

The hotel was just off the highway which was great to not have to search for it. It was fairly new. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Our dog needs a walk and there were good sidewalks, good fields to wander into but it is next to two construction sites so not sure what will be the situation in later years. Walla Walla very dog friendly. The City Park wonderful for walking and playing ball- not too far away by car and dogs welcome downtown at outdoor seating at restaurants. Excellent site with access to the highway and the town and a good solid dog-friendly hotel.
