    A Whale of a Trip!

Captain Scott and the crew were all very welcoming to us and our senior mutt. We saw about 40 Humpback whales and 20 Risso’s dolphins on our Nov 12 trip, and would definitely return. Highly recommend!

    Outstanding!!!!

We took our Berner puppy, Daisy, whalewatching this week in Monterey, and it was an incredible experience. As a puppy, she is pretty hesitate trying new activities but she handled the boat ride, the staff and the people on the boat very well. She adores people. There was another small poodle on the book but it was not a problem. The staff was wonderful and I must say it was the best whalewatching trip we have ever taken, even beating Maui's whalewatching. We saw a large pod of common dolphins, a large group of sea lions and whales feeding off small fish (archovies?). The mom whale and baby whale was right in the middle of the sea lions feeding and playing and surrounded our boat. There was at least 6 or 8 other whales arounds the area feeding. It was incredible. I will definitely take this boat again with Daisy.

    Very nice and accepts dogs.

Went to princess whale watch because of a positive review and was turned away. This company was awesome, very welcoming to our dog. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone- dog or no dog!

    Amazing trip with the dogs!

The crew welcomed my two ridgebacks on a three hour whale watch. The dogs rode free of charge and it was a fantastic experience for the whole family. I highly recommend taking this tour with your Fido.

    So Much FUN!!!

We were welcomed aboard with so much enthusiasm! Our furbabies loved the attention and settled right in for the adventure. We saw SO many whales, porpoises and other wildlife. It was amazing :) We sat in the upper deck and had plenty of room to see everything. Highly recommend!

Don’t Go Out In The Afternoon

Don’t take your pet out for the afternoon tours. The water was rough and my dog was terrified. Yes, the staff were incredibly dog friendly and helped me when I threw up three times over the side of the boat along with at least a dozen others. The problem is their boats are not equipped to withstand the rough water and huge swells we encountered. Do yourself and your dog a favor and take Dramamine and take a tour in the early morning.

Very dog friendly crew and boat

I went whale watching with humans on the new Blackfin catamaran. The seas were rough and several humans became sick, but I had the time of my life and was begging for my kibble! I saw 80+ humpback whales and thousands of Dolphins. My humans would recommend other dogs to remember to bring water, snacks, and toys or chews as 4 hours can get long. Beware... The staff are so pet friendly that your humans will have to make sure they don't try and take you away in their pockets (kidding). Highly recommend.

    Dog extra-friendly tour

My Lab mix and I visited the Monterey/Carmel area, because it was touted as a very pet friendly destination. We learned that this is very true. One of the highlights of our visit was a whale watching trip with Monterey Bay Whale Watch, which allows dog visitors (with reservations) on its cruises. There is no way I can do justice to this quality company, other than to say it was far beyond my expectations. The captains and crew are highly knowledgeable about marine biology, and add depth to the experience with their narration. I would recommend this company to anyone, even without a dog companion in tow. They were wonderful with my dog, who was a bit timid about boarding (although once he saw the four-legged crew members up on the bridge, he was ready to join them!). I discovered that a boat load of marine mammal enthusiasts were the perfect group for us; Rowdy made a lot of new friends. We had a truly great one-of-a-kind experience. I hope to take another cruise with this company; we need to see the Blue Whales!
