we have two small dogs and visited the small dog park. loved the space along with the wooded, forest like area in the space. great fun with the sprinkler system too. people are nice and the areas in the dog park and surrounding it are very clean. thumbs up!

The large breed side is a decent size and we really enjoyed the fountain. The owners were very kind and the dogs were well-behaved.
However, every time we have been there was poop Everywhere. Not the normal occasional left amount, but every other step dodging a pile level of poop. Owners do Not pick up after their large dogs on that side evidently. The bag holders were empty and there was a good deal of unattended tweens and kids as well, of which did not pick up after their dogs. - BrittanyMore than a year agoGreat Little Park!
This was such a great place to stop off the beaten path with our pup while we were traveling. It wasn't very large, but it was nice and clean. People there were friendly and responsible at the time we were there. Their park is separated into two parks, one for little dogs under 30lbs and one for large dogs over 30lbs. The little dog park was empty so we took our 20lb dog in the large park to run around and she did fine and no one had a problem with us being there. It was good for her to run some energy out!

This park is my absolute favorite park. Lucy (my papillon) and I have visited almost all of the dog parks around the area. Chattapoochie was our favorite. It's wide open, grassy, well kept, and friendly. I highly recommend a visit.

I just moved to Duluth from the Braselton area, and this is the first dog park I've brought my husky to in the area. Love it. Huge wide open spaces, and a good sized shaded woods area that I'm
Sure is great in the summer. Rocks and little bridges and other obstacles for climbing fun - LauraMore than a year agoOne small thing missing....
The yards are huge and there are sunny and shady areas. Could us another few benches for people sitting and the only thing missing are restroom facilities. There may be some somewhere else on the grounds but I could not see any within a reasonable proximity to the dog park.

Great open dog park with small and large dog fenced areas. They are separate areas with totally separate fences. .Both sections have large landscaped area and wooded area for exploring. There are paved area for the humans to hand out on as well as a couple benches or rocks for sitting. From our experience with our two lab mixes, afternoon ( 2pm or later ) tends to be a good time to take your dogs.
The small dog park does have a few little obstacles. The large dog area has lots of room for running and a decent incline from one end to the other.
There are water fountains there but they are shut off in the winter time. So don't forget a bottle of water. There are regulars who bring gallons of water but don't count on them.
Park is very convenient to Duluth. Right off Peachtree Industrial. With plenty of parking right near the dog park areas as well as large parking lot, covered pavilion with picnic tables, playground and small access to the Chatahoochee River. - SabinaMore than a year agoSuper dog park
Perfect place for big dogs to play together. We go there with our beautiful 70# puppy every Sunday afternoon.
