    Large Dog Park Closed

December, 2021: the large dog park area is still closed as it is missing significant fence area. The small dog enclosure (which is small itself) is still in use. There are several paved and unpaved trails around the dog park area, however, so while off-leash play may not be an issue, there is still plenty to sniff and explore.

    Beware

Park is nice and there’s usually either no one else there or a good amount of other dogs to play with, busy but not packed. Had to help separate and administer first aid thought today. Pit bull attacked a smaller mixed breed dog, completely unprovoked. Pit wouldn’t let go and was shaking the smaller dog by the head for several minutes, owner had zero control. I won’t be back.

    Great Location

Park was bigger than I expected. I went around 2:30/3 and there was about 10 dogs which was great for all them to play. They have nice shaded area with tables in the small puppy section and the bigger dog section. The fence that separated them could have been taller so as to not scare the pups. Overall Scooby-Doo had fun in the hot sun.

    the park itself is nice

The park itself is nice and vast. I love the water area. It seems like a nice retreat for summertime. However, I went for the dog park and was sadden by it. All toys destroyed and one water fountain for the dogs. It does provide enough water for my 4 month old German Shepherd but it came out so forcefully that half the water went over the sides. The small dog area actually had obstacles in the area for them which was nice to see. I’ve been to three parks so far and this is the only one with something interactive for them as well. The barrier between the two parts (big and small) is so low though. My puppy can already jump over it if he wanted to. So perhaps a taller barrier would be more conducive to the separation. Regardless my puppy had a blast and is all tuckered out.

    Proper Puppy Parenting

This place is a lot of fun when you’re there with other RESPONSIBLE pet owners! I’ve been going to this park for several years and I’ve seen fights were owners will pull there dogs away and where owners aren’t even paying attention. I’ve also seen smaller dogs get hurt, when there is an area for small dog only that could prevent that from happening. If your there with other responsible pet owners your dog will have a great time!

    BEWARE

We took our 6 month old puppy here today. He is a big dog, part pit and part boxer. He is sweet and never aggressive. He was attacked by 3 dogs. None of the owners of the dogs came to pull their dogs off of him. My puppy was in the fetal position yelping and bleeding everywhere. The dogs came back. I had to cover my dog and push the other dogs away. I finally grabbed my dog and got him to safety. One man walked by and said that this happened earlier to another dog. My husband and I were covered in blood and my puppy has to have stitches. He has 2 puncture wounds in his neck and his ear was almost bit in two. To make matters worse... my two children witnessed the whole thing. I would not recommend this park to anyone! My dog and family will never go back there.

    Fun Park For All!

Nice, spacious and clean. There's always other dogs there for our pup to play with and all the owners we've met have been really nice. We've tried other dog parks and feel this one is the best for us.

    Love this Park

Closer to the house than the Pearsal Rd Park, this park is nicer and a bit larger. It has two sections for small and large dogs and a third section on the other side of the park. A lot of people and thier dogs go there and after its all done, take a walk with your dog around the Pond, bout three quarters of a mile.
