You might want to consult a ranger before selecting your hike. We did the Rose River Falls hike which was noted as moderate. There was what felt like a never ending incline which was all rock scramble. A couple warned up and told me I would need to carry my dog. Luckily my pup is 11 lbs, has nimble little paws and did it with ease but it could be hard for non-rock savy pups.

Tried this hike based on another review here. Our boys aren’t the most athletic (neither are we) but this trail was a challenging yet very enjoyable. Awesome scenery and well makes trails. Plenty of water spots to let them get a cool drink and ya a rest. Highly recommend!!

Gorgeous hike with mutilple small waterfalls along the way. Hike counter-clockwise around the loop to save the best falls for last. Gorgeous, lush, fern-filled forests. Hiking along streams most of the way allows for many places for dogs to take dips. Quite a few gnats along the trail though.

I took my dog who is a lover of hikes but doesn't particularly like bridges. There are two bridges: one he went over no problem while the other one had some larger gaps and it took some coaxing to get him across. Other than that we enjoyed ourselves. There were plenty of other dogs and people on the trail so please be sure to leash your dog for safety of all.
