It is huge! Multiple areas for the owners to sit and hangout. Great place if your dog likes to dig as the area is mostly sand. Lots of shaded areas as well and little mini trails for your pup to explore on his own while still within the enclosed park. it was amazing. 1 hour in the park and my 10 month old golden was out for the rest of the day.

very nice. very clean. lots of space. separate big dog and small dog areas. the whole playground is not all visible due to island areas of trees and thick bushes so I could see someone losing track of their dog if their not watching. water station, poop bags, garbage bins all over. we came on a drizzly day so no one was here.

We spend a month in Ormond January 2018 and took our 8 month old Lab to this park almost every day. Met very nice people many of whom we saw repeatedly as well as their friendly dogs. Highly recommend.

We are in town for vacation and saw mixed reviews for the dog park at Bicentennial Park. Knowing that there had been aggressive dogs in the past, we made sure to keep an eye out for trouble.
When we arrived, a group of dogs surrounded our dog and initially everything appeared normal.
Our dog starting running around the park as she usually does in big open areas, but every time she stopped, the dogs surrounded her and were getting more aggressive each time. Things started going downhill pretty quickly.
The other owners did nothing to call their animals away from a building situation, so we called our dog and started walking back to the gate to leave. As she was running, another dog cut her off and bit her in the hip. No damage was done.
Another dog then tried to hump her at the gate. I had to physically remove it from my dog and from the area just so we could get the gate open. We were there for less than 5 minutes.
During all of this, the other owners were near a park bench talking and did nothing to defray the situation.
We gave the park a shot, but it didn't work for us. It might work for you. My biggest issue was the lack of oversight from the other owners.

I saw the neg. reviews but thought I’d take chance on this park while back home for Christmas. I, too, had a bad experience.
Our extremely friendly 47lb is used to dog parks and is well socialized. Upon arrival we saw a man hit is dog pretty hard for jumping out of the car. We went in and dogs ran over for a sniff (normal). We stepped back to let them learn their pecking order. There was an unfixed bulldog who tried to keep humping our pup then another dog (longhair mix) started snarling and charging ours. The dog chased ours and bit her on the side. She didn’t break skin but it was very aggressive. Where were the owners in the 3-5 minutes this took place? Not getting involved or paying attention as they stood a distance away by the benches talking and smoking. We left quickly - with the unfixed dog trying to ours the entire way. - Joseph HilkoMore than a year agoKiller Pit Bull is let loose in big park
On February 22, 2016 , my collie was attacked viciously by an adult pit bull on the lose with no muzzle or leash and dragged to the ground with his throat gripped and being shaken like a ragdoll. It took a 4-5 minute fight to save my pet's life. The emergency animal hospital bill was $1100.00. The handler of the pit bull said it was my fault because my collie wasn't neutered. I got absolutely no support from the Park, Police, or Animal Control People.
STAY OUT OF THIS PARK IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET. - DeniseMore than a year agoGreat park
Large dog park w areas both Sandy and grassy, separate for large and small dogs. Good supply of poop bags and trash cans, doggy water fountains. Definitely a "do" if you need to give yourself a leash break!

We are traveling with Mattie and Larabee. We stopped to give them a break and some doggy social time. This park is perfect. It is large, well fenced, lots of water and bags. The dogs and their people were friendly and nice. There is a separate area for smaller dogs. We've been to a lot of dog parks in Florida and this is one of the best.

I will not go back. There were a lot of dogs, but mainly with men. An elderly man approached me and threatened to fight me, then he was supported with three other men in the park. I am not sure if it is a hang out just for men, or what, but at 4:15 pm, I was one of two women there. I threatened to call the police, but that just intensified the situation. Very strange place - never seen a 'dog' park like this before. Too bad because it is a huge facility.

This is my favorite park in the area! It's clean, grassy, and hilly. There are water stations for the dogs and so much room for the dogs to play and run. Love this park!

I saw this "fight" your husband put his hand in the mouth of the dog and admitted it was his fault.

Be aware!!!!!! My friendly 61 lb dog got attacked at the dog park.by a rottweiler mix 150 lb dog.....16 in bite wound thru his body, had to have surgery....also my husband required stitches in his finger......I will never go to a dog park again...I love my dog too much to put him at risk..

One of the best dog parks I have ever been to. There is so much room to run around, patches throughout the fenced in area of bushes and trees for shade, benches, and watering stations. Those who attend this park seem to be dog savvy and I have never had a problem here. Afternoons are a little crowded, but throughout the day only a couple of dogs come and go. I love this park!
