We LOVED taking our pup to the beach! We went to Kemil beach so we could try to get him to swim (if you want to swim with your pup you have to go to one of the beaches without lifeguards). It was pretty quiet which was great for our nervous pup. We didn’t seem to have any issues with mosquitos.

Wonderful beach! So pretty. Nice people. We went east of Kemil Beach. The dogs had a blast! Yes, there were mosquitos but it was worth it.

Before continuing we were here in mid June. I know the time of year may have something to do with it but we couldn’t walk twenty feet without one of us being bit. I LOVE hiking and so does my mom and dog, but we left extremely early due to the pests.
Dog friendly.

Beautiful beach, very clean. Bath rooms r newer & clean. Kids & dog loved going up & down the dunes. Couldnt swim due to red flags but enjoyed the day anyway!

We really enjoyed walking the trails with our dogs and some beautiful views from the top of the dunes!
