- AmandaAug 28, 2024Perfect first beach trip
Spent a few days down the cape and spent 2 afternoons at Marconi. Plenty of Parking, the park rangers and the guards were so kind. There are a lot of steps but once your down them the beach is perfect.

This is the beach to go to if you’re in the area. Dogs allowed year round. Parking was easy and wide open unlike the national park beaches in eastham. Short walk to dog friendly part. Wasn’t crowded for us on a Friday.
- CaroAug 4, 2024Great beach time with my dog
This beach have a 25$/day charge. There is lots of stairs so don’t bring heavy stuff. Dog are allowed on leash, just stay away from lifeguard chair.

Everyone was right, this was an awesome beach for the pups and us. Great walk on the beach in the cool wet sand, there were swimmers , surfers, seals and puppy dogs.
- HaydenJul 29, 2023Great beach, dogs galore!
We were on the Cape for our honeymoon and made the 45 minute trip out to Marconi beach twice because it was that good! There are very few beaches that allow dogs during “peak season” so we were thrilled that Marconi does! It made it extra special to share that part of our trip with our golden, Mazie. Be sure to bring lots of fresh water and an umbrella for some shade for Fido as the sand can get hot quick. Dogs do need to be on a six-foot leash at all times, be aware the waves can be pretty strong at times so we brought a life jacket for our pup as an added protection. Be respectful of the rules and the wildlife so we can all continue to enjoy the awesome beach that Marconi is!
- PascaleJul 17, 2023Great!
dog must be on a 6 feet leash, you go on the right after the lifeguard zone
- MaudeSep 11, 2022Great beach
Awesome location for dogs. Large, sandy beach where they can swim in the ocean and roll in the sand. Note that all dogs must be leashed, especially if they go swimming as the riptide can be strong.
- ChristinaAug 27, 2019Great Spot
Great spot to go with your WHOLE family (including your pup)! Love that we can bring him with us to the beach during the summer time.
- AmyMore than a year agoVery dog friendly and beautiful!
I was worried that the area where dogs are allowed would be not as nice or that kids wouldn’t have a lifeguard to help if needed. I was wrong. Going outside of the lifeguard area is not that far from the entrance steps to the beach. We did not feel like we were being banished. All dogs there were leashes and under control. Some went off leash to swim. Great place for dogs.

Sectioned off from public swimming and lifeguard area so you need to walk a bit to get to the dog zone here. Don't go when the sand and sun will be too hot for paws!
