The dog park is gross, not a good place.
however, there is a trail if you drive through the park that allows the dogs to be off leash and it is beautiful. two different places, but at the same park - HannahMore than a year agoPerfect for a Good Hike
The off-leash area of the park is extremely well kept and there is plenty of room to take your pup for a long walk or a run. The only downside is there is very little shade making it rough on my black dog during the summer.
There is also a fenced in dog park at Palmer Park near one of the entrances. Unfortunately it is very small and is not maintained at all. I would not recommend the dog park, only the off-leash area at the top of Palmer Park. - RobertMore than a year agoAwesome park
It is really clean. I don't know what the previous person was taking about. It has fantastic views, amazing terrain, and phenomenal trail systems. It is steep and rocky in places so expect a good work out if you like to wander.
- MaryannMore than a year agoI'm not taking my dogs there anymore.
The park itself is not bad, however it's incredibly dirty. It seems no one is picking up after their dogs anywhere. You can barely walk 3 steps without having to evade poop. I take my dogs to Bear Creek Dog park instead.
