A simple dog park near our home (less than 5 mins). My dog Roscoe really likes it there and that’s what counts. I’ve also found that some of the grassland and trees are enjoyable to look at. Pretty nice crowd of people and pups too!

A totally enclosed dog park! Easy to find, parking lot, unlocked gate (even though they ask for permits only). As the website says, “The park contains a 28 acre off-leash dog park, including a 3 acre small dog area, that includes... nearly a mile of hard surface walking trails through restored prairie.” Can you imagine an enclosed dog park with a mile long walking trail for the humans while the dogs run it out?. I really loved it here, even with the cold weather in the snow.

Nice trails and huge open park. The $5 fee is worth it in my opinion. Definitely will go again!

We took our Labrador Gus on a walk here en route to Eau Claire from Chicago. Beautiful and well maintained!

Huge fenced in area where you and your pups can walk the trails inside the fence - off leash. Friendly community vibe. Lush vegetation. well maintained.

We (and our dogs) love this park. We have a runner, who doesn’t always come when called, so we’re limited in taking her to fully fenced parks. Many fully fenced parks are boring for humans, but this one has a great circular walking path through gorgeous tall grass prairie. Surrounded by trees and adjoining a frisbee golf course, this park makes it seem like you’re much further out of the city than you actually are. Outfitted with two double entry gates, waste receptacles throughout, plenty of waste bags, a great shaded area with picnic tables near a large grassy play area - this park definitely is at the top of our list.

Who knew that gravel paths would be so pleasant? I really enjoyed that. The small dog area is small and boring. I loved that this park had multiple waste disposal locations. It was so nice not to carry dog poop all around the loop. I liked that this was nice and hilly and the path meandered a bit. I am used to just circles. Very beautiful. The view around was nice as well. Part of the way your looking at an ultimate frisbee course which was great.

I have a very shy/scared 14lb. dog, and this is basically the ONLY dog park we tend to visit anymore after numerous attempts at other farther away parks and finding people do not follow the "small dog" rule very well... I'm sorry but a lab puppy that wants to chase and bite other dogs I would NOT consider a "small dog". Anyways, there's not much scenery wise in the dog area at all, but they do have a gravel path to walk on which is nice.My reason for only giving a 4-bone rating is that there's a sign stating "small dog area" on the front gate, but not a single one stating so on the other two gates that lead from the large dog area to the small dog area, so I've encountered a few people cutting through the small dog via the gates to get back to the parking lot.
Otherwise I absolutely love this place!!

A good park with lots of space, right next to a disc golfing course. A few hills, with paths through tall grassy areas with a few flat areas for play.
