I like that you have the option to go for a walk or play in field. The park is split between small/shy dogs and large/active dogs

My dog and I visit this park regularly and he loves it!! The upkeep could be a bit better, there is a large mud puddle on the one side.

Having just moved to the area, I was looking for a safe place for my cairn terrier to run around off leash in a safe and comfortable environment. And I found it in the Danielle Ruiz-Murphy Center for Animal Welfare. This place has two great fenced in areas for shy pets as well as an area for those dogs who love to run and jump and play! I love how they didn't section the dogs off by size, my little guy loves to run and play with the big dogs despite the fact that he's under 20 lbs. The park is kept really clean, but only a port-a-potty for restrooms. They even have doggie water fountains. (they are the coolest thing!) The other owners were nice and considerate, and being dog people, we had lots to talk about. We had a great time on the trail too, seeing the horses and getting in touch with nature. I really enjoyed this park and will be back often.
