Great place to swim & walk

It’s a beautiful 0.5 mile loop. The only downside is it’s almost entirely in the sun with no shade. It’s one of the only places that dogs can swim downtown. There are stairs down to the lake on the Rutledge Ave. side of the park. Be cautious of the oyster shells on the walls if your dog tries to get in and out of the lake from the edges instead of the stairs. The city scrapes them in some areas, but they can still be very sharp.

    Perfect For A Walk

it’s a long area to walk your dog, but there is not enough grass. I also was not able to find poop bags.
