  Great location and relatively clean.

  This was my 16 week old pup's first trip to the dog park and she loved it. The complex we live at in Merrillville is overwhelmed with goose feces and doesn't have anywhere for her or even the children to run and play, not to mention the irresponsible dog owners that live there. We will definitely be back, my sister lives less than 10 minutes away in Portage and we visit her often.

  Right off the highway!

  Perfect spot right off the highway for the dogs to get out and stretch their legs. (We are on a LONG road trip.) The park was huge with obstacles and many other dogs to run around with.

  Great dog park (& only one in area).

  FYI- the correct name is WOODLAND PARK DOG PARK (in case you’re trying to search it).
  Besides the stinky garbages up front, this is a good park. The lawn is maintained, except around the equipment (they could use a weed wacker).
  there is a water fountain outside of the fenced in areas.
  there are obstacles for the dogs to play in, as well as open areas to run.

  great park!!

  Stopped on way from Boston to Denver. Right off highway, huge fenced in area and beautiful park surroundings. Highly recommended!

  Great park for dogs and their people. We love it. Lots of room room for dogs to run, exercise and have fun.
