- DaveNov 4, 2021Love it
we have been bringing out redbone coonhound here since we rescued him in May 2020. we love it because during the height of covid, it was a good spot for not only for exercise, but have the possibility to socialize, which was good for Bruno and for us. most people are kind and friendly as are most of the pups we have met. we meet with friends all the time and the regulars are all great! but just remember people, it is a dog park after all, so you may here some barking, or in our case some baying and howling 🙂

So the dog runs are just medium sized dirt lots. There is poo all over and no doggie bags. The county really did the bare minimum with this dog park which is disappointing because Eisenhower is supposed to be one of their best parks. Id love to see this park get a little TLC and some equiptment for the dogs to play on. This place was yuck!!

Amazing views and a lot of trails to hike with your dog. They have a water dispenser and poop bags for you. There is easily 3-4+ miles to hike depending on the route you take. They have both paved and natural trails for you to choose from.
- RyanJul 15, 2020Good Dog Park!
A nice park with plenty of space and good owners. The other ratings are outdated about parking and size of park. Definitely a large space for the large dogs including grass, a large tree for shade, a large tree stump for climbing and easy access to water. Owners clean up after their dogs.
- LauraJul 9, 2019A Great Dog Park!
There was plenty of shade on this hot summer day, which I appreciated. It’s large enough for the big dogs to run and there’s WATER

My dog loves this place. I take him there 3-4x/week. Owners are responsible and super friendly. Of course, every once and awhile you'll get that 1 irresponsible owner. This place is huge. Me and my doggy give it 5 bones!!

Parking should only be done inside the park. The lot has been under construction causes patrons to park outside. When parking in front of peoples homes they are not considerate at all. The dogs pee on the lawns and I have seen a dog rolling on a lawn because the dog owner said he was in dog park 20 min and needed to roll. Also an owner was wiping off his muddy dog on the front lawn actually the middle of a lawn. Is this the right thing to do? Shows zero respect and zero manners. Also bags of dog waste are left in front of homes and garbage of all sorts. An elderly man threw a water bottle out from his car when he was told he dropped something he replied very nastily and drove away. Of course without picking up his trash. No parking signs are needed on Stewart Av across from dog park and walking track. Better yet No stopping anytime signs.

Park is not bad. Nice size but it's all dirt. It can get very messy. No hose to wet dogs down in the hot summer. Water system is horrible. They really need to change it.

My backyard is bigger than the small dog area, and the large dog area isn't much better. Barely any grass, mostly dirt, rocks and poo that owners haven't bothered cleaning up. I was told that it was one of the largest dog parks in the area. How disappointing for pooches who use it regularly. The same park has multiple huge areas for golfing, and a ton of other unused space, but the area for dogs is just an armpit of the park with a separate entrance and parking area even.
- KellyMore than a year agoOK area but friendly Owners
A relatively small area split into large and small dogs, divided by a fence. Many owners and plenty of dogs to meet.

Basically a fenced in location with parking and separate areas for large and small dogs.
There are many friendly dogs and dog owners but also a fair number of owners that do not watch their dogs, making it very important to watch your own dog at all times.
There is little shade and only a few places to sit.
There are no dog bag dispensers and the garbage pails are disgusting.
There is dog watering areas but not for humans.
The county cleans the park very rarely.
If it rains it will be muddy for days.
There is no water to wash off your dogs.
There are no bathrooms.
