- JeffreyAug 30, 2024By far the best dog park we've ever been too.
The trails, the common areas, the people and most importantly, the dogs. We have never met a better group of dogs and people. We travel across the country often and have visited dog parks all along the way and few compare to this one.

Every single time I have been here, without fail, something goes wrong. Once my dog was bitten on the nose by a larger dog. He was 7 months old and bleeding profusely. It wound up not being so bad. I figured it was just him being an annoying puppy so I went about my business, took him to the vet, and didn’t think much of it. I will also add that the woman with the aggressor said that, “I should control my puppy”.
Three time I have encountered people with smaller dogs who get upset when my dog, a friendly happy go lucky 90lb dog, comes over to say hello.
Today, my dog approached the large dogs playing in the dusty area per usual. A dig about the same size pinned him down and aggressively barked and nip at my dogs neck. I normally wouldn’t have thought much about it until the owner, an interesting woman to say the least, shouted frantically at her dog. She gave up and her dog proceeded to pummel mine. I was upset and snapped a little asking her to remove her dog from mine. Suddenly it was my fault. The person with her, also quite interesting, had much to say. Then a third jumped in. Needless to say I felt somewhat cornered and got a bit aggressive. Especially when some shlub urged me to, “do something”. He wasn’t as brazen when I approached him, but I digress.
I realize that if everyone else in a room is pointing fingers, perhaps I should question myself. I did, and I can’t think of a reason why any of this nonsense has occurred.
It’s an off leash dog park. My dog isn’t aggressive in the slightest. I’m normally a friendly and understanding guy. Needless to say, I won’t be returning to this park again.
- MeganJan 14, 2020Great place for off the leash fun
The park was great, off the leash all the time. Not too many dogs to overwhelm but just enough to get some socializing. A few different trails to explore.

This off leash park is great. Nice paths, nature, shade, benches, water. This one has it all. My dogs love it and I go as often as I can.
- MelissaJul 9, 2019Perfect For The Whole Family
The city of Vista figured it out
- KatieMay 1, 2019Excellent Dog Park
I just brought my pup here for the first time today, and he literally had his best day alive. This park has a lot of great trials for people and pups, and the best part is it’s all off-leash. We will be back- only regret is we didn’t come here sooner.
- RogerAug 24, 2018Best dog park in North County
Probably the best dog park in San Diego, other than Dog Beach in Ocean Beach or Del Mar. And of course, Fiesta Island is great too. But this dog park is a REAL dog park and has lots of shade and room to roam. Dogs are primary here, and this place was made for them. There are trails, and trees, and varied habitat. It is MOSTLY fenced in, but you have to keep an eye if your dog starts wandering up the large north facing hill or up the long and winding driveway. Other than that, it's safe to let your dog out of your sight without worry, and the people who have been going there for years are family, and very welcoming to newcomers.
