This was a great stop for us before we took off on a day of driving. Large park with both a large and small area. Our dog loved the little agility items in the parks

A large-sized leash-free area. Generally in good shape. Somewhat windy and exposed, but a nice place to visit with your dog.
- TimMore than a year agoMy favorite park in the area.
I am a first time dog owner, so dog parks are a new concept to me. That being said, I love to get out of the house and try new things. As a result, I have been to almost all of the dog parks in our area. Out of the ones I have been to, Lewiston is my favorite so far. They have a small dog area(30lbs and under) and a large dog area(30lbs and over). Out of the dog parks I have been to, the people at Lewiston respect the posted dog sizes the most. When I have seen bigger dogs on the small dog side it is either because the dog is elderly or there aren't other dogs to play with on their side, but the owners asked permission. The park always has a nice breeze which is great. They have water areas for your dog to hydrate, but depending on the season they may not be on, so bring some water just in case. They have 3 pieces of agility equipment on the small side of the park; a dog walk ramp, agility tunnels and mini hurdles. The large side has a tunnel and dog walk. So far the park hasn't been too crowded when we have gone, which makes it easier for everyone to watch their dog. The only thing that would make this park a little better is a shaded area for hot summer days. I will keep coming here when time allows.

This park offer both big and little dogs plenty of space to run and things to so! Benches and pet waste bags a nice plus for humans
