Park was muddy and in the middle of the woods. Because of this we ran across a baby copperhead snake in the park. Thank god we saw it move or we would not have known it was there. Will not be returning.

The dog park is hiding behind the recreation building; entrance next to the dumpster. If you blink you will miss it. A little walk from the parking lot. 3 play yards, small, Lg & a wet play yard enter thur the gate in Lg dog side. The wet area is stagnant! I wouldnt let my pup splash in it. (i'll post a pic) The small pup area is cleared w/grass, sunny. No drinking water. The Lg area has a doggy fountain, & hose for rinsing. Waste bag & scattered benches lots of shade with a woodies feel. Watch where you step lots of tree root coming up from the ground. Dont want to trip. Its well kept & the few people who showed were very nice! I posted couple of pics below

This place is so muddy, no new mulch, dog poop everywhere!!!! Very large dogs with bad owners poop all along the back fence thinking no one sees it. Even before you get in the gate large piles of poop. Yuck!

This is a very shady park. It's located beside a softball field. It was pretty hidden to me i had to park and walk around to find it. There are 3 areas - one sunny part, one shady part, and one part in the back that is wetlands - for wet dogs only. It's all fenced off so you don't have to worry about your dog getting wet and muddy if you don't go in that section. Only saw 2 dogs here but it was during the week around 1pm. There's a water fountain.

I'm new to the area and have been searching out parks for my 2 dogs. After 2 months of commuting 25 minutes to James Island and 18 to Ackeman, I discovered this gem just 7 minutes from home -- it's a great dog park! I will be going daily from now on.

This park is in a nice part of town (West Ashley) off of Bee's Ferry. It feels safe. Don't go if it has been raining because it is on the edge of wetlands. It has everything you need and since being there twice I have not had a run in with any bad owners.
