Met a friend and her dogs here on a Friday at noon. There was only one other dog there at the time. No bugs in January :) It’s smaller than some of the other dog parks we go to, but still plenty big for the dogs to run around. Mostly dirt and pine straw, so the dogs got a bit dirty, but not too bad. I still like the Daniel Island dog park better, but this one is in a nice central location to Mount Pleasant, so I’m sure we’ll come back again.

Our other dog park was closed for maintenance so we tried put this park. We didn't even last 30 seconds until we had to literally run for the car. It is almost November and the bugs swarmed worse than we have ever experienced in our life. Will avoid this place like the plague!

When having high energy dogs this is the worst dog park to take them to. It is only a big square of dirt with barely any trees and barely any dogs during the day.

My pup loves it here! We see a lot of familiar faces though it can be a quiet park much of the day. Recommend before & after work hours if you want to socialize your dog. Bring a towel and bug spray, it is dirt ground and it gets buggy to the point where no one comes in summer.
