Chewacla State Park

Chewacla State Park in Auburn, AL, offers a variety of dog-friendly trails for you to explore with your pup. With loop trails that take less than 30 minutes to complete and out-and-back trails that take more than an hour, this park offers something for every hiking ability. Dogs are welcome in most park areas as long as the dog is on a leash. Bike and horseback riding trails may not allow dogs for safety reasons. Dogs are not allowed in stores, food service areas, bathhouse, pool or swimming areas. Don't leave Fido unattended in a car or he may be confiscated. Visit Website

    beautiful park

    Beautiful park with trails & swimming. Park rules said leashes, but I let my dog swim for a few since it was quiet. Wish we could have swam for longer but didn’t want to get in trouble.
