Love that people bring water bowls and jugs of water for all the dogs. Just wondering if this is a risk for the dogs given the new respiratory disease (aCIRDC) that there is no vaccine and no effective treatment for it. At least with dog flu there is a vaccine. Even though I bring my own bowl and water, I can't keep my dogs away from drinking in the communal bowls.

Hi! I was at this wonderful dogpark yesterady 12/29/21. Just wondering if anyone found a set of keys on a gray ring! We love coming here with our Bernese Mountain dog Bodhi.

I was early to pick up my mom so took my dog here. I was surprised by how nice this park is. I was expecting an empty lot next to the airport. there’s trees and gravel trails, nice open grass areas to play. water bowls and jugs there.

Been taking my dogs here for 10+ years. They love the open space. My std poodle really enjoys playing chase with the others. It's well kept. Be sure to bring a sack to clean up potty. And water too.

Love coming here. Plenty of space, friendly people, friendly dogs. My dog is fine even though its not completely fenced in. The dogs tend to want to stay with their humans and other dogs and don't tend to stray. Make sure to bring your own poop bags and take your poop when you go. Thats the only downside.

While I love to hike with my dog in wooded areas, he always gets a ton of energy out when we get into wide open space. That is exactly what this park is. He loves it and just runs to his heart's content! There aren't any garbage cans and one side isn't fenced along a road but as long as your dog has decent recall or you take him in on a leash until you're far enough away, you'll be fine.

Since this is an unofficial dog park, don't expect posted rules or trash cans. Owners are on their own to enforce rules of healthy play and clean-up and it seems like the majority do. Overall nice park - really large with wide open areas to play. Park borders MSP airport on one side, a swamp/wetland area on another and Now Boarding and a parking area. Most of the area is fenced in but there is an area that borders the main street that isn't. Young dogs may want to be leashed in that area unless they have good recall. Nice park if you keep a vigilant eye on your dog and others and watch where you step.

“Exit on 28th Ave S from Hwy 62 and turn south. The dog park is at the end of the road on your right. It consists of 80 acres owned by the Metropolitan Airport Commission. The property is not entirely fenced in. No permit required, but there are no services provided. Owners must pick up after their dogs and take it with them for disposal off park grounds. ”
