Took Jeter during the sunset hour. Not dark but the sun was setting. On the side of the Red Trial furthest from the entrance I saw a coyote. It did not attack or approach us but it looked at me and Jeter. Don't know if it was a solitary animal or park of a pack. I don't know if it lives there or was just passing through. I'm not willing to find out. I will suffer no threat to the Jeter. Go only in broad daylight if you go at all.

Jeter loved it, we followed the Red Blazed trail he ran, he leaped and jumped felled trees with reckless abandon. It's all off leash all the time. Downside, no water so bring it, no human bathrooms. Whole trail which is an oval is about 35 to 40 minutes. Basically flat. Totally enjoyable.
