We took our two Saint Pyrenees here last week and let them swim in the lake... they both got giardia! A few hundreds of dollars later and they’re doing better now but be warned! Do not take your dog to this dog park! They may have fun swimming in the water but it will suck later when you have to give them anti parasitic and possible iv fluids.

This park is not safe for dogs, the waterfront entry is not graded and there are rocks at the edge dogs have to crawl over, or blindly jump over, to get into the water. The stairs are in disrepair and not clear of rocks either. We will not return, messaged the City of Windsor Parks Dept., they have yet to respond.

I enjoy taking my dog to the Windsor Lake Dog Park! He enjoys it immensely. It's great exercise for both of us and a great opportunity to soak up some rays and breathe in fresh air!

Such a minimalist excuse for a park. Open space is about 20' by 100'. There is a dog swim area here, but that doesn't save the park from being disused and constantly vacant. Check out the other dog park in Windsor by Eastman park.
