If you are looking to come here, make sure to type in Community Field Rd., Holyoke, MA 01040. Definitely bring your own water. Great variety of dogs attended. If your dog likes to eat wood chips, you may want to avoid it. Fun for my pooch!

Small little fenced in park with basic agility equipment and bark mulch footing. Bowls provided but no water so bring your own. Some toys scattered around and lots of poo(the clean up stations provided were out of bags). Their is a small loop trail and water slide near by with small shallow pools and stream of water run off I let my small dog play in. She was so happy to play out In the woods since we came weekday early morning and no pups were out yet. She did find a stinky poo pile and roll in it so for those of you with gross dogs you may want to avoid this place because their will be poo. Their were several friendly large breed dogs and a small breed dog but we diddnt stay to play because of the poo incident.... Some benches under trees for the humans and a large area around a children's playground where you could walk your dog around the perimeter as well. Nice little spot directly off the highway for pit stops and short playtimes! Will be going back again!

I've been bringing my puppy Roxy to the Holyoke Community Dog Park/Wyatt Harper Dog Park for the past several weeks. She has made a huge improvement socially with other dogs in that short of time. I can't speak for afternoons but in the morning there are a great group of Owners and pets that visit the park. For the most part all the dog's we've encountered have been person/baby/puppy friendly. I would like to see a water pump or spicket installed in the field however in the future.

If people would pick up after their dogs this would be a nice place to go. The grounds are a mulch like product and hard to see the dog poop.
