This is great for a free park. As a new resident of the Pointes we’d been struggling to find a free, fenced park. This is a good size - plenty of room for big dogs to run. Convenient to the freeway and Corktown. Cool view of the train station. Poo pickup bags and trash cans galore. I’d imagine it’d get really muddy when it rains/snows, so I wish it had some wood chips or some kind of engineered drainage.

The dog park is literally just okay. It has a decent amount of space to run compared to other dog parks in the city. It does get muddy after rain, there’s no running water for pup refreshments. Some dog parents do not watch their dog and that can cause issues. And peak times are about 5-7 during the week days. Remember that the park is free so vaccinations and spay/neuter is NOT required.

It's nice that there's a free park in the area but remember that since it's not regulated there's a chance of non-vaccinated dogs coming in. Bring your own water. The park gets very muddy after rainy days since there's very little grass.
