- RachelleMay 10, 2023Park would be great if other dog owners in the area didn’t suck.
It’s a beautiful and spacious park, with benches and plenty of trees for shade, a dog water fountain, and an area to hose off your dogs if they get dirty.
However, the good is outweighed by the dog owners who don’t understand dog body language and don’t realize that making false reports about dogs being aggressive can put dogs’ lives in danger.
One of the first few times I came here earlier in the morning, there was a man who brought his dog (that was technically too small to be in the large dog section that he also trains to attack and bite) and attacked my Pit-mix and when she reacted, they made a report that she was aggressive and bit their dog, even though mine was the one that was bleeding.
Fast forward a few months later, and I started coming later in the morning to avoid the crowd that included the guy from the first instance and used to come literally every day as it’s only a 5-10 minute drive from me and didn’t have any issues with other dogs. My dogs were playing with another dog that also comes there regularly and they’ve played with without issue, and they started playing rough and the other dog owner called me over and I separated the dogs and at the time, the other dog owner said she was fine and not to worry about it, only for me to bring them in today and the other dog owner shows up and the park employee tells me that he wants to make a bite report about my dog.
Neither of our dogs were barking, yelping, or growling while this happened and both dogs had tails that were high and wagging, and they kept sneezing when I walked over to separate them. Anyone who actually knows dog body language knows this is positive dog body language that doesn’t indicate aggressive behavior.
If people weren’t such primadonnas that made false reports, this would probably be a 5-bone park. But then again, what else should you expect from dog owners from Doral? Just be warned if you have a dog that likes to play rough occasionally, people might try to say your dog is being aggressive and could get them in a potentially very bad situation.

it was my first time taking dog to the dog park. it was great experienced! safe environment let her off leash. dog and owners were friendly. water fountain available for her to have a drink.
- GeorgeNov 13, 2021Maggie loved it!
this is by far one of the nicest dog parks I have ever been to. There are vending machines, a dog wash station, plenty of poop bag dispensers, water fountains for both dogs and their humans. It’s nicely landscaped with plenty of benches and a nice gravel path around the perimeter for Maggie and into walk a few laps. Highly recommended!

Great dog park, lots of space, well maintained and huge with separate spaces for small and large dogs.

My dog loves this place, and I do too. It’s clean, the people are friendly, and there are dog showers just in case things get muddy.

Took Chewy here two weeks ago, had a small altercation with another dog but it was quickly handled and controlled by the other owner, who was there with a second dog and were all very friendly to Chewy and I. One of the other owners that had just gotten there went and told the park attendants about the altercation that they barely witnessed (even after the situation was already under control) and the park attendants came over to us and asked the other dog owner to leave in a very rude manner. There was no need, his dog was already on leash and their other dog was very friendly and was still playing with Chewy. First time I take him here and maybe the last not because of the altercation but due to the bad vibes from other owners(like the one who snitched) and the bad attitude from the workers. They said they only allow dogs that are neutered/spayed. Very discriminating for those owners who rather not spay/neuter their fur babies.

Excellent park except it does need more shade. Separate park for large dogs and small dogs. Except some feel their large dog belongs on small dog park and not enough attendants to deal with it
