    Central location

Nice little dog park located just outside downtown Hendersonville. Has two areas one for small dogs and another for larger dogs. Plenty of grass for dogs to play without getting too muddy but hadn’t been cut in quite a while. Take bug spray with you because the mosquitoes will carry you away

Convenient pit stop with sufficient running area

There are two fenced-in areas (small dogs / large dogs) big enough for the dogs to sprint around. There's a water bowl with spigot, trash can, two benches, and a parking area. No poop bags, so bring your own. People were nice. No trees, no shade.

It's a convenient place to stop if traveling through in need of an off-leash run break. There's a long greenway connecting to it that goes to several different parks, so plenty of walking options. There's also a dog-friendly place to eat or have a good drink a 1-min. drive down the road (2 Guys Pizza Planet).

My fur babies love this place

This is a wonderful place to let your dogs run free and play with others. My dogs absolutely love it. I've been going for over six years now. For any newcomers, the park itself is great. Mostly older folks who are very polite. I've seen a few dogs with poor manners but they typically only come once or twice. Usually it's full of playful medium/large dogs and sweet older people who love to talk. But if you see a skinny older woman with a little brown Chihuahua that never goes off leash, steer clear. She's very rude and the dog bites anything that comes near it. As long as you stay away from them it's highly enjoyable.

    Nice park

Great setting - lots of space and a nice creek for the dogs to swim in. Mostly older people frequent this park, which is ok, but watch out for the shrieking hag. Also watch out for the woman who never takes her leash off her dog.

    Hidden Gem

Didn't find this dog park at first, so we walked the trails for a bit. Then as we were leaving we saw the road. Nice park overall. Trails were nice, paved for the parts we walked. The dog park is good size, but no separate areas for large/small dogs. It had just rained when we were there so things were a bit soggy, but otherwise a nice play stop on our cross country road trip. The dirt road is the first right after you enter the park, just after the bridge. Parking is behind the bike park.
