The park is very small and compact, but incredibly well designed for the space it is in. The landscaping is amazing, and having the ability to see the baseball games at adjacent CHS Field make this one of the most fun and unique dog park experiences in Minnesota. Well worth a visit if you get the chance!

Lowertown Dog Park is not very large due to its location in Downtown St. Paul. However, it is a well maintained area often packed with other dogs. It is mostly open land with a few small trees and large rocks, with a gazebo at its center. It does not offer the trails and ponds of other dog parks, but serves its purpose as a back yard for those living in the high-rises of downtown.

Easy to find, nearby parking. Convenient location. Rock and mulch everywhere, makes for easy poo cleanup and a not-so-dirty pup after playtime. There are places for humans to sit and a doggie drinking fountain!
