We went to right side of parking lot. Down an asphalt trail that ends in dead end. Very safe place to walk your dog and dog stays nice and clean. Took about 30 minutes round trip.

Both the main path and side trails are easily accessible for pets. Beach is super fun for the pups! Side trails are heavily wooded so be cautious of ticks and mystery plants.

5 stats are not enough! So dog friendly and so many friendly dogs!! The beach is vast and very inviting! The path and much of the beach are quite rocky so wear good shoes!

I went there with my two dogs. The trail is well maintained and large. Side trails can be found off the main one. It's a good walk, about 30 min or so. It's not too busy but it doesn't feel secluded either.
There are NO trash cans. Some people (including myself) leave their poop bags on the side of the trail and grab them on the way bag, as carrying a pound of poop isn't much fun. Please don't forget to pick them up!
Oh it's in the woods.. mosquitoes might be present, definitively are at dusk!
