go here every sat/sun with my big dog, sometimes muddy but weather depending! really easy and mostly a good group of dogs & owners

Turn in to parking lot at library entrance, park is in back and is fenced. Park is on smaller side, took my Aussie there to run off some energy before the vet around 2pm. Lock your car, saw a few homeless folks trying to open car doors. If you’re that close to the city, I’d recommend Fido field downtown if you want more space but this will do in a pinch.

not sure if they took out the fence because of Covid but either way I drove all the way their because everything online says open and it’s no longer a dog park.

Wasn’t really busy when we went (around 5:30) and my girl had so much fun. It was her first introduction to dog parks
- HollyMore than a year agoJust don't go after 5
Every time I go here after 5 there is just too many dogs, too many fights, and too many irresponsible owners. I have a small dog and a medium sized dog and the small one gets attacked by certain dogs often. I realized that they are always there after 5 so I stick with going before then.
Dog are also allowed to come there unaltered (which is very dangerous) and I think that says enough in itself. Its a shame because I love right down the street and it used to be just locals and my neighbors that used the park but lately there has been sketchy people using it with unneutered males and unspayed females. If you come here, go in the middle of the day.
