  Hunnewell Dog Park is very nice, human atmosphere is not

  Park is very nice, human atmosphere is not. When we arrived, our licensed dogs on a leash were attacked by two off leash dogs already there. Adding insult to injury, instead of help or apology, we were repeatedly yelled at by one of the dog owners. Unfriendly, the 5pm Club seems to call the shots there. Dog owners beware.

  Didn't appreciate the monitor

  My idea of a pleasant walk with our beagle does not involve being monitored. Would not recommend this lovely park for its human atmosphere. No idea what an off leash permit is but our beagle has all the paperwork and shots to walk where he likes, but not in Newton apparsntly. Walk your dog here, but leave your sense of humor at home for this one...

  dog fun

  There are 2 entrances- ine at the deadend of Newton Street ( off of Brooks st) where the new balance ?corporate office is and the other at the deadend of Grasmere Road ( off Hunnewell) in newton.
  Great super large fenced park, nice ppl, awesome dogs, bring water there are bowls, there are bags and trash barrels but the bags run out so it helps to bring em.
