Fun day at the park and took the train up to bear mountain. The conductor loved dogs and was fun to listen to on the ride.

Dog friendly redwood forest! Lots of open space for your dog to play and a fun train ride to sit and enjoy the scenery. Dog leash required and muzzles are provided by staff if the camp feels it is needed.

We visited Felton on a gorgeous day in July. Sitting in open train cars, you get enough of a breeze to keep you cool on a warm summer day. We decided to take the 1 hour round-trip through the redwoods. It was absolutely gorgeous. We did stop over at 'Bear Camp' to stretch our legs. We had a group of kids come over and play with the dog. There were plenty of sticks around for him to fetch. Make sure to grab some ice cream once you are back at the depot.
