Has water and allows you to let your dog run around! super convenient and pretty location, on the smaller side though.

We've been taking our 4 month old puppy lab here the last couple of weeks. Its perfect. Dogs are friendly as well as their human owners. There's plenty of room to run and play!

THis park is absolutely disgusting. So much crap smeared all over the place. Super tiny. The structures are stone and not for most dogs. It’s not at all pleasant even sitting and letting your dog off leash for a moment. Not worth it for a second.

10/7/19 - Small dog park with a nice view of the water. Turf, instead of grass. A little difficult to find, at first, and parking wasn’t ideal.
- JessicaFeb 21, 2019Small and clean
This park was very small, no dogs at all, very little shade. I was shocked that there was turf for the dogs instead of grass. We will not be back.

We parked our car in the street and then, walked along the river to get to the dog park. It’s all Astroturf and has a nice water fountain and some little obstacles for your dog to jump on which is nice and also you’re right on the water. I have a 18 pound cairn terrier and she loved it. The whole area there is so pretty next time Im in Tampa we will definitely stop by again.

This park is fun! Just a mile walk(give it take) from Sail. Outdoor, dog friendly bar! Park has good space and water fountains for dogs and humans. no real grass but cold stone tubs for the hot days!

I live in New Tampa and travel to this park once a week to enjoy it with my dogs.
It's very clean and the view of the river is nice. - MelissaMore than a year agoNot a Destination Park
We took our 35 pound dog to visit Curtis Hixon Dog Park as we were in the area. The location is lovely right on the waterfront. We noticed a sign stating only 10 dogs at a time were allowed in the park. No problem, there was only one other person with her dog. We were there on a weekday. The park was large enough for a small dog to run but I wouldn't recommend it for large breeds as space is limited. It is a lovely park, however our dog refused to urinate on the carpet like feel of the astroturf. Good boy that he is, he thought this is definitely not grass!

dog park right off the path with fun structures to play with and play around. The space was perfect for my doggies. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
