- RichaOct 30, 2024Perfect hike
My large dog enjoyed this hike. There were no tricky sections that he couldn’t manage. We went early in the morning so there were fewer people and almost no dogs.
- AbdallahSep 20, 2024Great hike for dogs and hoomans
Beautiful hike that combines forest, water streams, and gorgeous waterfalls.
If you want the full experience (4.5-mile moderate intensity hike with lots of steps), start from the lower parking lot. Otherwise you can do an easier 1-mile hike to Lucifer waterfalls if you start from the upper parking lot. Either way: highly recommended - DerrickDec 9, 2023Beautiful place! Short walk
Fido had a great time, even in December.
- ElizabethMay 29, 2023Awesome!
we went in the morning to beat the heat and the holiday crowd! We liked the gorge trail and had a great day!

This park should be on everyone’s must do list. The waterfalls and scenery are beautiful and the hikes are great for dogs. Even on the hottest day, there are plenty of places to stay cool bc of the shade of the gorge. We would definitely come back!

We brought our pug and husky along with my parents two toy poodles. We hiked a total of 4+ miles on a Saturday and had a great time. There were a lot of dogs there and lots of places for the dogs to walk up to shallow water to drink and cool off on the hike. Would go again!

Excellent park for hiking with our dogs! Plenty of swimming spots! We did the gorge trail and then the rim trail back, about 4.5 miles total. Would definitely visit again!
