  Beautiful beach!

  The beach is very clean. it wasn’t crowded at all when we went. There are trash cans on the beach but you need to bring your own dog waste bags. We had a very relaxing visit.

  Love this place

  I’m born and raised in Jacksonville and I go to this beach all the time. now that I have a pup I get to take her there too. we love going here for sunrise walks. but if you’re going here during the day I would recommend going to 16th street. there is tons of parking in this area and even a nearby park. be careful because sometimes there are unleashed dogs on this beach :/

  Go Early

  Drove there on a whim because of the captivating sunrise. Come to find out if you go before 9am you can totally bring your pup and enjoy an early morning stroll along the beach! Absolutely gorgeous and worth it! There’s free but limited parking just right off of Beach Blvd.

  lots of room at low tide

  This is a great beach for humans and dogs to walk along. On leash at all times, patrol does drive by. Dogs are allowed on the beach before 0900 and after 1700. Got a couple of walks in each time, wore her out!!
  I think you can have the dog off leash IF they are retrieving a ball into the ocean (and you are there at the edge) or swimming in the ocean.
