Great Place to Take Your Pup

We enjoy walking on the many trails at Pilot Mountain State Park. Some of the trails are paved, while others are gravel. Also, several small streams to walk over. Love this place.

    Beautiful views

We regularly walk the 0.8 mile Jomeokee trail (which circles the knob)- beautiful views and rock facing. The trail is well-kept and easy to navigate with stone stairs in some areas. My dog doesn’t have any trouble. We have also done the Ledge Spring Loop (2.2 miles, strenuous) and if your dog is one who likes to only take stairs quickly, you could get pulled down.
