Both the park and people/dogs were friendly and inviting. When traveling with our dogs, we stop at an off-leash park every 3 hours. They love playing off-leash, running and barking like fools!

Found this treasure during our stop. we unfortunately stayed at a crappy hotel but this park made it worth the stop.

While visiting a friend she suggested we check out the dog park. My dog loved it! It has big shade trees, a water station, and a small and large dog park!

So dog friendly - it’s amazing! Lots of trails, two fenced in dog play areas for different size dogs, park benches to relax, picnic tables for dining outdoors and just so clean! Highly recommended:). But please be kind and bring poop bags with you for waste…

Nice big dog park near the lake. Could be a little cleaner though

This is a very large dog park at Freeman Lake Park. The actual address is North Dixie Avenue as listed. Look for Freeman lake park to find the dog park. It is well into the actual park along the lake. There are two very large play areas with benches and shade. The two parks are separated by a small roadway. It was very clean the day I visited.
- KitMore than a year agoWONDERFUL!
I've been enjoying Freeman Lake since the early 1970's. The dog park is a recent addition, and has enhanced the lake immeasurably. It's a great place to bring your dogs and meet other families who are as committed to their dogs as you are.
