Shoshone National Forest
Dogs are welcome to join their humans on an exploration of the great outdoors in Shoshone National Forest, a pet-friendly park in Cody, WY. The national forest features more than 1,300 miles of trails, 11 picnic sites, and four scenic byways which travel throughout the forest and offers outstanding views of the mountain peaks, glaciers, streams, rivers, plateaus and more. Check out Popo Agie Falls Trail for an easy hike that features a waterfall or stride out on the moderate Bridal Veil Falls Trail. Dogs must be leashed in developed recreation sites. While in the backcountry, please be considerate of others and have your pet either on leash or well-trained to verbal control.
