For dogs that love the beach

The Dunes occupy a 40 mile stretch off the Oregon Coast, roughly from Coos Bay to Florence. There are various places you can get off the 101. Dogs are allowed on leash on trails and on the beach. Restrictions occur during early spring (I don't recall which months) due to birds but otherwise dogs welcome. In general, dogs are welcome on most Oregon beaches. Keep away from areas that are used for off roading vehicles. (These are called staging areas and signs say they are for off roading vehicles. I also checked the website to find specific spots for hiking or going to beach) Be sure to buy a forest pass prior to going as they are not sold at the park. Current price is $5 per day per vehicle.
