Let'er Bark Dog Park

Let'er Bark Dog Park was created specifically to allow dogs to roam off leash in Pendleton, OR. It is not fenced in, but the beautiful grassy space is the perfect place to let your beloved pets run out some of their energy and meet other pets. There is even a shallow, running creek for Fido to cool off. Let'er Bark Dog Park is located across the street from Pendleton High School, next to the RiverWalk entrance.

    Ok in a Pinch

The space is designated as off-leash with signs and a trash can. There is no fencing and is right on the river. Would not recommend if you dog is not under excellent voice control or without a leash.

    No place for dogs

This is not as stated. The beautiful grass is only there for a few weeks. Parking is gated off! Parts of the year this area is flooded or flooded with Contestants during the Round Up. what you will find is goat heads and fox tails. Lots of them! Locals use the fenced lot at Lincoln Playground (formerly a school, now the district office) which is fenced and well kept. The district maintenance staff generously installed a poop bag station near one of the three gates. There is no water. Please help us keep this area up and available by respecting the school district and the many children who play here.

    0 if I could

There is no dog park here in my opinion. It’s a giant patch of dirt/gravel with a gate blocking access from where Google tells you it is, and barely a parking lot. If there is a dog park and the address is wrong, it’s not visible from this location. About 1/4 of a mile East on Carden there is a fenced area on the right between 10th and 11th that is dog friendly. Go there instead!

    Sad

After trapsing through goat heads which I picked out of my dogs paws several times before arriving to the overgrown, dried out, tick fest that was the only dog park in Pendleton. We left immediately....Heartbreaking. I carried my full size dog through the parking lot that was gated closed. Reasons unknown.Doesn’t this town like dogs? I would just wait until the next town. Pendleton just isn’t there yet. I hope to check next time we pass through.

    Riverfront dog park.

Riverfront dog park. Hard to find . You end up parking at the top of a gravel drive which is blocked off across from the high school walk down the drive all the way and then find a small path that leads down to a grassy area where the dog park begins. No fencing and river runs right by Park not too deep but I do know your pups might want to go into it. Very large grassy area.

hard to find, even the locals didn’t seem to do about it.

Address is wrong. It is actually at about 1400 Carden Ave. it is a greenbelt along the river. It is not fenced but a long way from the road. It was a nice place to stop. Henry appreciated the chance to get off leash
