There are multiple beautiful hiking trails in the park. We did the « white » trail which ended up being around 7 km. There was multiple access points to the creek which was super nice! Not too crowded, Dog on leash.

There is plenty of parking, even on weekends, if you drive a little ways past the main lot to one of the (18!) picnic areas, which each have bathrooms. Consult a map to find trailheads. It's a very large and beautiful park with functioning stables and an old mansion. On some of the trails you'll find ruins of other old buildings. Dogs are welcome on leash.

I found Ridley Creek State Park the day I downloaded bring Fido, jumped in the car and went! It is HUGE! Relatively easy to find, ample parking. We tried the yellow trail but it was after a day of rain so we were muddy. Then hoped onto a paved roadway and walked up hill following the stream back to the mansion. The hills are no joke! Trails are labeled but we did become a little confused and walked over 8 miles so pay attention or you’ll be tired like us haha! There are public restrooms listed on maps and playgrounds for kids. There was a lot of people and pups! I personally suggest a back pack filled with water and snack for both human & pups.
