This is a great location for morning hiking with your pup

Huge off leash area at the base of the trails and some amazing views from the top. As always, bring plenty of water though there's a fountain near the bottom of the trail for the pups

This was a nice area, but I wish someone had mentioned the hiking trail is quite rigorous. We turned around before we got to the top because we were concerned about our dog. On the way down, she laid down to rest three times. I was really concerned. I wish I had known.

There are 2 parts to this park/hiking trail. For the hiking trail itself, dogs need to be leashed. At the base of the hills, there's a huge flat area that's off leash. If you need your dog to run around and release his wiggles, this is the place to go! Because the off leash area is so big, however, it's going to be less crowded than, say, a regular dog park (i.e. fewer opportunities for encountering other dogs). The area is only fenced in by low wooden bars, which your dog can easily get through. But keep dogs in the middle of the field, and you'll be golden.

Wonderful trail. I have 2 dogs one with arthritis and one hyperactive. Best of both worlds Flower ran around the trails and Lurch walked slowly on the leach. Made us all happy!! Beautiful desert park.

Hi! I was looking for an open area to take the dogs where we could walk around and walk a few trails. It's a desert park, sand and small bushes, but the dogs loved it and that kept me happy walking around. Definitely will go back.
