Two very large fenced in spaces and the best place I have found in Indianapolis where my dog can run off leash. One thing to note is that the day passes consistently do not work / unlock the gate. I hear this is not an issue for people who get the $75 annual pass.

This is the biggest dog park I’ve ever seen in Indy, and I’ve been to a few. Great if your dog wants to run “free” in a HUGE enclosure. Day passes are available at the entrances to Eagle Creek Park proper. It’s a good deal in my opinion, our little mutt was tired out!

For being a large metropolitan city, Indianapolis is disappointing and the dog park area. As mentioned above this dog park requires a magnetic key pass it is an expensive yearly fee to join and I would not find it worth it. You can go to Chicago and find dog parks all over, the same with San Diego and Florida and they are free. You can buy a day pass for $10, robbery, but must show immunization records.

Eagle creek park has many fine, well maintained trails for hiking with your pup! The shade is nice during the hot Indiana summers! The dog park is huge! You can obtain a day pass at the park gatehouse on 56th street, but make sure you have your pups vaccination papers with you as they will want to see them before issuing a pass. The only downside to the dog park is no potable water, so bring an extra milk jug or whatever with water. There are drinking fountains in the park itself. As with any dog park, some dogs play nicer than others...we've not really had many issues, lots of friendly people and pups and really enjoy the large space for my pup to run and socialize!
- AmyMore than a year agoNormally a hit! But can be a miss!
We really love this dog park! My dog enjoys the space and normally the other dogs. We have had a couple run-in's with some not-so-friendly poochies. These bullies can ruin everyone else's time - so with them there - the park is a 1 out of 5. But if you have nice dogs, and nice people - then definitely a 5 star park!

Eagle Creek Park is probably the best park in the country for walking your dog. Located at 7840 W 56th street Indianapolis is the office. You need to pay to get in the gate is either 56 street or on 71st St. The dog park is separate and you do have to pay to get an entry card. This to ensure your dog has all the vaccinations. - ElaineMore than a year agoit would be great if you can get in :(
Traveling cross country with our dog we stopped here, but unless you're a local with a magnetic key card you aren't getting in :( nowhere to buy a day pass, and the dog owners inside the park certainly weren't eager to let us in. We did a disappointing leash walk around the area & left :(
- DavidMore than a year agoWrong address given above
There is no good address for this park, but the address you have is wrong. A much better address is 5600 North High School Road, Indianapolis, IN. It will get you to the entrance to the short road where the park resides. Enter it in you GPS navigation and when you have arrived at your destination drive another 400 ft and the park is on your right.

Imagine 5 acres for your dog to run free in and you've got the Eagle Creek dog park! The owners are very nice people and the dogs are well behaved. I would recommend this park to anyone, but beware there is a marsh area at the back of one of the parks that the dogs will occasionally take a swim in...
